God Behind Bars just hosted a speaker event with Maria Durso of Saints Church in a maximum security women’s prison in New York, and it was incredible! 56 women attended to hear worship and a message, which was 10% of the whole prison’s population! Six women then gave their lives to Jesus for the very first time, and many more seeds were planted through this event that we were able to be a part of.
Please join us in praying for the women who just said yes to Jesus for the first time, the women who haven’t yet turned their lives over to him, and for favor as we begin to launch a new God Behind Bars prison location there, too!
In the same city where the Super Bowl was happening, where the attention of the world was fixed on stadium lights and celebrity events, a group of NFL players chose to spend their time somewhere else.
There has never been a greater urgency to reach men and women behind bars. The cycle of generational incarceration is massive, but together we get to do something about it. Whether you choose to give once or monthly, know that your donation is not only helping here on earth, but is changing eternities forever.
Thank you for your interest in getting involved with God Behind Bars! We just need a few pieces of information to get the application process started.
